Over the past few years, working with students has become a true passion of mine. In 2019, I supported my son one-on-one to learn how to read, write, and improve his math skills during remote learning as well as my daughter who was in preschool. This inspired me to volunteer weekly with a first-grade reading program in 2020, instilling a love for stories and helping developing readers thrive. Most recently in 2025, I served as a fifth-grade inclusive education assistant, keeping students on task, supporting their executive functioning, and assisting them with reading, writing, and math. Prior to my experience in education, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics and graphic design from Moravian University, which led to my role as the marketing associate art director for Fortune and Money Magazine. I am looking forward to working with Ms. Peavey in Grade 1 to provide academic and emotional support, assist with administrative tasks, and to help to organize the learning environment. I cannot wait to meet this year’s Grade 1 students, and I look forward to a wonderful school year at Crossroads Academy!
