World Language Department Chair, Grades 4-8 French Teacher, and Sixth Grade Math Teacher
I grew up in the Pittsburgh, PA area where I graduated from Carlynton High School. After, I attended the University of Pittsburgh where I served time on the Student Government Board, completed three years as a Residence Assistant, was a sister in Delta Phi Epsilon, and earned my Bachelor of Arts in French Languages and LIteratures. During my studies, I spent  a semester abroad in a French language immersion program, where I lived with a family in Nantes, France. During that program we spoke little to no English, studied in full French courses, traveled to museums and explored landmarks, and spent the semester understanding family and culture of that region in France. It was an experience that shaped my passion for the World Languages. After college, my family and I moved many times, including Georgia, Utah, New York, and finally New Hampshire – which is where we now call home! I have two amazing kids who have helped guide and shape my journey into education. I have worked as a corporate trainer, a translator, a personal trainer and private chef, and finally transitioned to Elementary Education and the World Languages. I am currently completing my Master’s of Education with a focus on World Languages. Working as a Substitute Teacher, a Paraeducator, a private French Teacher, and as an intern during my certification and licensing process have all given me a strong foundation with working with students, and allowed me to share my passion and joy for learning at all ages!
