Join us for Sense Exploration!
As you and your child begin to prepare for their Kindergarten experience, we invite you to join us on Friday afternoons for Core Knowledge learning, enrichment activities, and adventures.
Our sessions are free and open to children aged 3.5 and up. The program will be taught by our lead Kindergarten teacher, Erica Kurash, and is a great opportunity to learn more about our special school and the extraordinary educational opportunities we offer. This program requires a minimum of five participants to run.
Please note: The independence of a “potty-trained” child is a prerequisite for the program.
- Fall Session: November 13 and 20 and December 4 and 11 from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m.
- November 13: Introduction to our Five Senses
- November 20: Learn about the Sense of Hearing
- December 4: Learn about the Sense of Touch and Sight
- December 11: Learn about the Sense of Taste and Smell
- Location: Kindergarten Classroom, Klee Building
- Winter Session: January 22 and 29 and February 5, 12 from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m.
