For Newly Enrolled Families

Congratulations on your acceptance to Crossroads Academy!

We are looking forward to welcoming your family into our strong and supportive community. As you become acquainted with our school, please use the resources below to prepare for a successful transition. We are so glad you’re here!

Before you arrive . . .

Getting to Know Our School

Dress Code
The Crossroads Academy Dress Code is a natural extension of the school’s academic standards and goals. We expect parents/guardians to support the Crossroads community by helping their children to adhere to the school dress code policy.

Key Information and Forms
Here you will find all necessary health forms that will need to be submitted before your student has their first day of school. You will also find a copy of our Parent Student Handbook, details explaining our dress code, and a planned absence form for you to submit if you are planning appointments or travel during school days.

School Calendar
Please use this page to check our Google calendar of events. These events are subject to change, so please check back often. From this link, you may also download the calendar that details our holidays, in-service days, and other breaks. Changes will also be communicated in the Weekly Newsletter.

Crossroads “Spirit Gear” Attire
Each Wednesday our entire community is encouraged to show off our school spirit, by taking a break from the usual dress code and sporting our Crossroads logo! In this store, you will find a mix of dress-code appropriate, and more casual styles. If you have any questions about what is acceptable to wear on a regular school day, please contact holly.gardner@crossroadsacademy.org.

Health Office and Policies
At Crossroads, we are committed to keeping our community healthy and safe. You will find our complete health and safety guidelines in our Parent Student Handbook. Please review our policies and contact the Health Office with any questions or concerns. If your child is sick and unable to come to school, please email the Health Office, the Main Office, and your child’s teacher to let them know as soon as possible. You may also call the front desk at (603) 795-3111.

Communications and News
Each week you will receive an emailed newsletter called Weekly News. If you are not receiving the newsletter, please contact Erin Drury to verify your correct email address. Because we value the importance of keeping families “in the know,” we include links to photo galleries often. As part of our marketing and communications efforts, we often share photos and videos in the newsletter, on our website, in online and print advertising, as well as social media. It is our policy to never include your student’s name with said photos or videos publicly. If you have special considerations for the sharing of photos or videos of your student, please contact Erin to specify those wishes.

Course Descriptions
To learn about the specifics of your student’s classroom experience, please review the lower school and middle school course catalogs. If you have any questions about your student’s classes, please contact their teacher directly or speak with Holly Gardner.
