Cheril Maynard

(603) 795-3111
After Care Assistant/After Care Substitute

As a lifelong educator and advocate for children and families, Cheril brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education, human services, and family support to Crossroads.

She began working with children at the age of 11, when she started babysitting, and continued to build her experience throughout high school by attending several trade schools, where she studied Early Childhood Education and paraprofessional education. These programs included hands-on learning through the schools’ daycare centers. She went on to work as a teacher’s assistant and aide in several daycare centers and preschools throughout the Upper Valley.

After raising her three children, Karisa (Dubuqe) P’34, Jessica, and Joshua, she returned to school to pursue her own education. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, with minors in Early Childhood Education and Counseling Theories.

She currently works as a family respite provider for the Clara Martin Center, supporting children and families by providing opportunities for children to engage in activities within the community while giving families valuable time to recharge.

She is excited to join the Crossroads community and looks forward to sharing her experience, enthusiasm, and passion for working with children and families with students and colleagues. She is also a proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Isabelle ’34.
