Dear Crossroads Academy Families:
The 2021-22 school year is upon us and Fresh Picks Café is pleased to be providing meals to the students of Crossroads Academy. Fresh Picks Café (a Cafe Services company) is a locally owned and operated company dedicated to serving delicious, wholesome, quality meals that meet the latest nutritional guidelines.
Nutritious and fresh meals, delivered daily-
Your students will be provided with meals made fresh each morning in the Hanover High School cafeteria. Meals will be transported to Crossroads at the correct temperature and loaded into a food service kiosk for service. We use a specialized heat seal packaging system to keep hot foods fresh, and a combination of heat seal and traditional packaging for cold foods. All containers are BPA free, recyclable and/or compostable.
Meals include an entrée along with fruit and vegetable side dishes (as well as the occasional treat). Meals will be offered in two sizes (standard and large). Meals do not include a beverage.
The convenience of an online system-
You’ll enjoy the convenience of an online ordering & payment system. Through the EZSchoolLunch online portal you’ll be able to select your child’s meals by day, for the week, or even the full month. Payment is made through the same online system, providing you with one stop shopping for all your school lunch needs! You’ll be able to access the online portal through a link on the Crossroads website, or by bookmarking the website on your favorite web browser.
Coming the week of September 7th–
Our plan is to begin service to Crossroads after Labor Day. During the week of August 30th we will provide detailed instructions on how to use the online ordering & payment system. Menus can be viewed on the ordering system as well as on a PDF version we will provide to the school for distribution with other materials.
