Intro to Kindergarten

Join us for Storybook Explorers!

As you and your child begin to prepare for their Kindergarten experience, we invite you to join us on Friday afternoons for Core Knowledge learning, enrichment activities, and adventures.

Our sessions are free and open to children aged 3.5 and up. The program will be taught by our lead Kindergarten teacher, Erica Kurash, and is a great opportunity to learn more about our special school and the extraordinary educational opportunities we offer. This program requires a minimum of five participants to run.

Please note: The independence of a “potty-trained” child is a prerequisite for the program.

  • Spring Session: March 13, 20, and 27 from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m.
    • Storybook ExplorersStudents will dive into fairytales, characters, emotions, story building, acting, STEM, crafts, and more!
  • Location: Kindergarten Classroom, Klee Building

If you’re interested in learning more about our full-day kindergarten program and school year offerings, we invite you to schedule a visit and tour at any time.

Please reach out to Assistant Head of School for External Affairs Katie Wardrop with any questions about the program or your child’s readiness to attend.
