BA Journalism and Mass Communication and Fine Art, Saint Michael’s College
Crossroads Academy staff member since 2019
I earned my BA in Journalism and Mass Communications and Fine Arts from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont in 2009. I returned to my hometown of West Fairlee, Vermont, spent a year at Concepts NREC as an editor for technical reports, and then found my true passion for Independent Schools while spending the last seven years in the Communications Office at Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, New Hampshire. At Cardigan, I grew to love the unique programming offered in a private school setting, as well as the importance of communication efforts. I was responsible for the creation and management of the School’s alumni magazine, as well as printed materials for Admissions, Development, Athletics, and other special events as needed. I am knowledgeable in web marketing, social media efforts, and other online communication methods. I worked closely with all departments to help fundraising and marketing initiatives. I am excited to join the Crossroads community and am convinced that the mix of strong minds and kind hearts is essential for any child. I can’t wait to help spread this message, and continue the growth of the School.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. Together we love taking full advantage of New England life. Weekend day-trips and lots of outdoor activities are what we enjoy the most!
