On Friday, November 19, the second grade class will be collecting gently-used outgrown coats, jackets, snowsuits, or nearly-new gloves, mittens, and hats for the Upper Valley Haven. Many local families can be helped as the cold weather arrives by receiving these outgrown items.

Last week our third grade students wrapped up their study of Ancient Rome with Rome Day! Activities included an escape Room/Agamograph, Roman numeral activities, a Roman feast, and games!

As part of one of their first history units, kindergartners have been learning about Indigenous people. Most recently, students have been focusing on the Abenaki tribes of the Northern region.

Students have been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

First grade students began their science unit this fall by learning about the history of the Earth. Students began by learning about the layers of the Earth, and that the Earth is made of rock.
