Ms. Hanissian is thrilled to join the Crossroads community! She has taught middle school math and science at Cardigan Mountain School, biology at the Forman School, English at the University of New Hampshire, ecology at Colby-Sawyer College, and carpentry in women’s correctional facilities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology, a Master of Arts in English with a focus on nonfiction writing, and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy.
Ms. Hanissian lives just one mile north of Crossroads with her husband, their two children, and their endlessly energetic puppy, Otis. Her favorite pastimes include mountain biking, hiking, Nordic skiing, reading good books, studying the wonders of the world with fourth graders, and, of course, eating chocolate.
