Dylan Bolles is a music composer and arts educator who works with people of all ages to foster deep connections to the natural world and to one another through sound and movement practices. He co-founded Thingamajigs.org, a California-based nonprofit arts organization, and is a Practitioner Partner with Intercultural Roots, a UK-based arts and health charity.
In 2020, Dylan moved to Vermont with his then-wife and four children after fleeing wildfires in California. While in Vermont, he co-founded Bottomless Well, an arts and social justice organization centered around an off-grid goat farm, and served as the Elementary Music Teacher in the Rivendell District from 2021–2023.
Dylan earned his BA from Middlebury College, his MA from Mills College, and his PhD from the University of California, Davis. He is delighted to have joined a school like Crossroads Academy, where whole-child education is deeply valued, and looks forward to getting started and becoming part of the Crossroads community.
