Kindergarten Lead Teacher

B.A., St. Lawrence University
Joined Crossroads Academy in 2025

I am delighted to join Crossroads Academy as the lead kindergarten teacher. I bring a deep connection to the Upper Valley, where I was raised. It is here that I have developed a passion for inspiring young learners. As a graduate of St. Lawrence University with a degree in Environmental Studies and Sociology, I bring my leadership skills from the university’s Outdoor Program. The program allowed me to focus on guiding students through immersive trips in the Adirondacks with a focus on outdoor education. These experiences shaped my approach to education, encouraging curiosity, resilience, and confidence in new challenges.

I have worked with children ages 4–12 in camps and schools. My experience was tailored around providing individualized attention for students, while supporting each child’s unique learning style and interests. I am especially drawn to the wonder and energy of kindergarten students. Their eagerness to explore and question the world around them is inspiring. Leaning into this curiosity forms the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

At Crossroads, I look forward to integrating my expertise in outdoor education with a nurturing, hands-on classroom environment. My goal is to create experiences, both inside and out, that spark curiosity, build self-confidence, and help every child discover the joy of learning!
