As we open the doors to a new school year at Crossroads Academy, I want to extend a warm welcome to both new and returning families. It is a privilege to partner with you in the joy and wonder that comes with raising and educating children.

At Crossroads, our mission to build Strong Minds and Kind Hearts is more than a phrase—it is the guiding purpose behind everything we do. Our academic program challenges students to think deeply, ask questions, and strive for excellence. At the same time, our community culture encourages us all to embody the Core Virtues, particularly diligence, perseverance, compassion, respect, responsibility, and courage. Together, these priorities nurture not only capable learners but also compassionate individuals who will make positive contributions to the world.

We recognize that a partnership between home and school lays a strong foundation for every child’s success. Your insights, encouragement, and trust are invaluable to us. By maintaining open communication, honoring the Core Virtues, and supporting one another, we can create the best possible experience for your children. Your student’s classroom teachers have deep expertise in child development; please do not hesitate to reach out to them with any questions. Of course, I welcome any questions or feedback you may have. We look forward to seeing you all at Back to School Night on September 11 at 5:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for you to grow your partnership with your child(ren)’s teacher and gain a strong understanding of the learning that happens both inside and outside of the classroom.

Thank you for entrusting us with their academic growth and character development. I look forward to seeing you on campus, celebrating the many traditions of Crossroads Academy together, and walking alongside you as we guide our students toward their full potential.

With gratitude, joy, and hope for the year ahead,

Dan Morrissey
