4. School Visit and Assessment

After completing the application form, the admissions office will contact you to schedule a class visit and assessment for your child. This is an opportunity for your child to get to the school as well as a chance for us to get to know your child.

The type of school visit varies depending on what grade your child is applying to enter:

  • Kindergarten: Playgroup visit
  • Grades 1-3: Full-day visit
  • Grades 4-8: Full-day visit, additional two-hour visit for placement tests

Admissions decisions are based on space availability, and on academic and social compatibility with grade-level peers. Crossroads Academy admits students of any race, color, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or ethnic origin. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation, nationality, religion or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship programs, and other school-administered programs.
