The American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) is the only national honor society recognizing America’s premier middle and high school students for outstanding scientific research in STEM fields. AJAS meets annually in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting. This year’s 2015 AAAS conference took place in San Jose, CA, from February 11 – 15. During the conference, our New Hampshire Academy of Science delegates (which included six current and three former Crossroads students) shared their scientific research with their peers through round table discussions and formal poster presentation, enjoyed a breakfast with world-class scientists, toured local institutions of scientific importance, attended conference sessions, and were inducted as lifetime Fellows into the American Junior Academy of Science.
