This month's virtues are Compassion and Forgiveness. Compassion is caring about others, treating them with kindness, and feeling a strong desire to help people in need. Forgiveness is having enough heart to let go of hurt.

Remembering Dr. Manheimer

Today, we honor the life of Dr. Renee Manheimer, our grades 4-8 Spanish teacher, who passed away suddenly last Friday afternoon. Dr. Manheimer came to Crossroads in the fall of 2021 and brought with her an incredible knowledge and passion for the Spanish language. She developed and articulated the Spanish curriculum and has been helping to further develop the K-3 curriculum. Dr. Manheimer was one of a kind. We are deeply saddened by the loss of such a special and important member of our Crossroads family, and will continue to honor and share our fond memories of the joy that she brought to each of our lives.

A Message from Crossroads Academy Parent Association

The parent community mourns the loss of Dr. Manheimer. Her commitment to our children's education will be greatly missed. On behalf of the parent community, CAPA has sent Dr. Manheimer's family flowers. The accompanying note said, "We will cherish the time our children had with Dr. Manheimer. With heartfelt condolences, the Parents of Crossroads Academy"

A Fantastic Shakespeare Day

We are so grateful for the extraordinary turn out at our first in-person Shakespeare Day since the spring of 2019. Thank you to all of our families who came and helped with costumes, props, and food for the day. We couldn't have done it without you! Please check out all of our many photos and videos from our different performances and activities, and we look forward to another day of Shakespeare next year!
