This month's virtue is Courage. Courage is finding the strength to venture and persevere.

Winter Weather Reminders

Now that the winter season is upon us, please remember to send your child to school in warm, waterproof clothing, as well as a change of clothing to have at school. We encourage you to please label your child's winter clothing with their name as well so that we can help return items that wind up in the lost and found. Please remember that it is our policy to resume outdoor play as usual when the temperatures are 10 degrees or higher. When temperatures are -10 degrees to 10 degrees, we will limit outdoor time to 10 minutes. When temperatures are below -10 degrees, students will remain indoors.

Winter After School Clubs

Our winter After School Clubs are now available on our website for registration. Our After School Clubs Program is designed to further enhance your child's experience at the end of the school day. Winter offerings include Creative Writing, Creative Canvas, Jump and Climb, Math Club, and Rock Climbing. Visit our website to learn more, and feel free to get a head start on spring club registrations while you're at it!

Young Writers Project Publications

Once again, students in Mr. Glazer's class have had the honor of being published on the Young Writers Project website. Please join us in congratulating Lidia Rosenbloom and Sophie Griffin for their artistic responses to The Great Poets Challenge. The challenge helped students to discover new poets, explore their styles, and be inspired to create artistic responses to their works. Click here to see for yourself!
