Crossroads Middle Schoolers Present: Matilda Jr. The Musical!

Crossroads sixth through eighth graders have been rehearsing, memorizing lines and songs, and perfecting lighting and technical needs for our upcoming Middle School Musical. We hope that you will join us for one (or all!) of our showings on March 9, 10, and 11. Invite your friends and family to come enjoy this Roald Dahl classic with a twist!

Welcome Back, Kai Doron '19

During the winter, Crossroads eighth graders examine the Atomic Age from three distinct vantage points: in history, science, and English class. As their culminating activity, the students compose six- to ten-page research papers. Earlier this month, recent graduate Kai Doron '19 visited the Middle School to present his research on Godzilla: Creature of the Atomic Age. In the fall of 2023, Kai will head off to college. Kai's aspiration is to major in paleontology. We love welcoming alumni back to campus, and were thrilled to relate our current studies with possibilities after Crossroads

Fourth Grade Islamic Empire Studies

Last week, Ms. Scott read Zahhak: The Legend of the Serpent King to her fourth graders. The book is a beautifully created pop-up book that relates to their current History unit on Medieval Islamic Empires and is effective in highlighting the virtue of courage. The book was generously donated by one of our fourth grade families. Thank you!
