At Crossroads students enjoy the benefits of small classes, a dedicated teaching staff, and active parental involvement.
The school day begins just after 8:00am, when students gather in their classrooms for morning gathering, a time when teachers and students read, talk, sing and reflect. For the rest of the day, students in grades one through five learn language arts and mathematics from their head teachers, and history, science, French, music, art, and physical education from teachers who specialize in those areas. In grades six through eight, students begin the day in homeroom, then move between classrooms to meet with different teachers in each subject.
On Friday the day begins with an all-school assembly in the Bancroft Center. Dismissal is at 3:00pm, except on Wednesday, when the school day ends at 2:00pm.
