Message From Head of School

Our children. They are the center of our lives and our hope for the future. When they are infants we strap them safely into their car seats, inoculate them against disease, and nourish them through the wonderful world of sights, sounds, smells and touch. We marvel over their discovery of their toes, early attempts at language use, and their ever growing understanding of the world.

Then comes the big step—school. As parents, we seek a warm, safe environment for our children, and we want our children’s teachers to be our partners. At Crossroads, we seek to be these partners. When we work as one, our children thrive.

Through this partnership, we seek to encourage the education of the minds and hearts of our students, and we do this in a unique way. A Crossroads education is built upon a solid, sequenced, and specific curriculum that exposes small children to big ideas. We infuse character education into the fabric of this program through actions, words, and stories.

We welcome you to Crossroads Academy’s website. Our goal is to illustrate for you the Crossroads difference as experienced in our K-8, full-day programs. Through this site you will learn about our unique and timely mission, our content rich program, our character education program entitled Core Virtues, our creative and committed faculty and staff, and our breathtaking, natural setting. I hope that you will take the time to dig deeply into our site, for our mission and program are multi-faceted and compelling.
